A little about us....
As the board’s name suggests, Stargate Command RPG forum is primarily a roleplaying site (text-based, storytelling RPG) for a small group of dedicated writers. Currently, we have less than ten full-time writers portraying a number of different characters. Our interests lay in creating excellent interactive fan-fiction, both for the enjoyment of portraying these characters and for others to read and enjoy.
The RPG sections of the board are open to all for reading and some interaction with the Players/Writers. We do request that those interested in joining the RPG be ready to demonstrate their writing skills and to convince us their planned character role (as well as themselves) are a good fit for the group. At this time, the RPG is semi-private in that we only add writers as we have available roles for characters to fill. In the case of Canon Character openings, we require a detailed audition only. Their profiles have been, or will be, created by the board staff.
We have recently opened up forums for Stargate Fans (Stargate, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe). This section is a work in progress and we hope the fans themselves will tell us what kinds of forums and other information they would like to see on the board.
You must register to have access to posting. This is an unfortunate requirement made necessary by the number of those online with a desire only to spam or create mischief. You will also be directed to read the forum rules before being allowed into the forums for posting. Whether you actually read them or not, you will be held accountable for following the forum rules and subject to having your membership revoked for continued and/or serious infractions. Our registration process is a tad complex, but in the end, it will make for a more enjoyable experience at our forums.
We hope you consider joining our community and become active in helping it grow and cater to the fans of Stargate. If you choose not to join, you are still welcome to stop in occasionally and read the RPGs or catch up on the latest Stargate news.

Each of the sections below will contain links to accepted websites to use for references and resources. These will be updated and new ones added as we find acceptable sites with good and valid information.
Please note: A number of the Stargate sites are Wikis maintained by fans. In the event of conflict, information from the actual TV series will prevail. Several of the GMs own the complete collection of DVDs and will research to validate information in the event of conflict. Should a situation exist where information cannot be validated in a timely fashion, the GMs will have the last word based on as much information and logic as possible.
The subjects within this topic will describe the various roles each of us will play within the RPG from time to time. It will also give a list of guidelines for how to work with the players in the various roles.
